Another of the Wii U’s sorely unappreciated library is getting set to make the jump to the Switch for a second chance at life. This time it is the stylish Fire Emblem / Shin Megami Tensei crossover from Atlus, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE.
Announced during the latest Nintendo Direct this will be an enhanced version of the Wii U original releasing under the title of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore. The new version will include a new song, additional story elements, and new characters for combat sequences. The original game touted seven characters that could be used in combat, but based on the trailer it appears three supporting characters will be available as part of your team. This will boost the potential for combat significantly with new strategies being available.
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore will be heading to the Switch on January 17, 2020, releasing both physically and digitally, with the latter already available for preorder.
