Top 5 Most Anticipated Games Announced at E3 2016

5. Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

One of my personal favourites from E3 2016, is Breath of the Wild which takes place in a newer world that we haven’t seen in this aspect yet, which is very refreshing. You’ll be able to do a bunch of new things, such as climb mountains, cut down trees, fight big rocks stacked on each other, and explore new dungeons. It also seems as if you’ll be able to obtain different armour sets as well, which is a nice addition.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is set to release sometime in 2017 for the Wii U and Nintendo NX

4. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

I never played the original Deus Ex games, but I may have to start on them before Deus Ex: Mankind Divided comes out. Mankind Divided takes place in a future where regular, natural humans fight against the cyborgs and our protagonist, Adam Jensen, try’s to stop the anti-augmented terror attacks.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is set to release on the 23rd of August, 2016 (just 1 days!) on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

3. Dead Rising 4

As a Dead Rising fan, this looks amazing to me. The trailer has a very nice Christmas-y feel that is just right for its set release. This time around, Frank will see himself in a newer, more open, world than the last, with the ability to explore Willamette instead of just the mall. There’s a bunch of new goodies to kill zombies with as well, which is a big plus.

Dead Rising 4 is set to release sometime in the Holidays of 2016.

2. Watch Dogs 2

It definitely looks like Ubisoft has learned from their previous mistakes of Watch Dogs and put together their new knowledge and created Watch Dogs 2, which takes place in San Francisco, California, you’ll be playing as a computer engineer by the name of Marcus Holloway. When Marcus is accused of a crime he didn’t commit, DedSec recruits him and also informs him of Blumes misdeeds.

Watch Dogs 2 is set to release on the 15th of November for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.

1. Battlefield 1

This was a very interesting announcement, as most people were expecting a Battlefield 5, but instead got Battlefield 1. This title takes place in World War 1, and it definitely does look like it’s true to the World War 1 era. There’s horses, tanks from that era, guns varying from that era as well, and also gigantic blimps that you are able to blow up. Who doesn’t like gigantic blimps you can blow up?

Battlefield 1 is set to release October 21st, 2016 on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.

These were our top picks, but there were most definitely some games that deserve honourable mentions.

The Last Guardian

Days Gone

Final Fantasy XV
