Sports games are pretty typical, you have your FIFA, your NBA, you Madden, and rarely do they deviate from this, and yet Ubisoft will be breaking the mold and going on an exciting journey into many extreme sports. During their E3 conference they announced Steep and showed off snowboarding, skiing, parachute jumping (complete with a GoPro sponsorship), and wingsuit jumping. This should offer a great evolution for gaming and be an exciting venture for people to enjoy, and this is certainly original in the modern era.
For those interested Ubisoft has launched a website where you can register, declare your platform of choice, and you will be able to do beta testing for the game at a later date.
