Grow Home was a surprise last year that was interesting experiment but not something I expected would get a sequel, yet in a surprise during Ubisoft’s E3 conference Ubisoft Reflections Pete Young took to the stage and revealed a sequel is coming called Grow Up.
The game will feature the return of Grow Home’s protagonist, B.U.D. – now without the help of his AI protector, M.O.M. – and will take place across an entire planet.
Ubisoft Reflections Pete Young shared that:
“Not only can you ride the giant star plants, but you can throw down seeds and use plants to bounce, shoot, and catapult yourself to new heights. All the way to the moon.”
All of this will add new gameplay elements to the original game which will hopefully add more to the sequel.
Grow Up will be coming to the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC in August of this year.
