Compete In Team Trials
Competing in Team Trials is a reliable way of getting Carats every week. There is a fixed number of reward for every promotion, demotion, or even retention. Though if you get promoted to higher classes, you will get more rewards.
If you improve your team, your rank will gradually increase. This is separate from PvP, and you will want to work on it gradually. Promotion to the highest rank for the first time gives you 1500 Carats.
Participate In Multiple Career Races
Even if some races aren’t in your career goals, you will get trophies after winning races. Winning some notable trophies will give you at least 100 Carats. Ideally, you should be looking for more G1 wins. The fans you gain from these races will also improve your club rank if you have joined one to get more Carats.
Collect Rewards
Make sure to check your rewards box to collect any Carats, as the developers issue them out occasionally. Completing trophies, missions, and events also gives you these rewards. Sometimes you may even find around 3000 Carats ready to be collected in gifts.
Play Through The Story
You can play through the special stories of the Umamusume that you have collected. They give you a small amount of gems, but they are enough for a few scouts. Playing through the main story is also recommended to obtain Carats. Completing each story gives you around 20 Carats.
