Update 3 and 3.1 Released For Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

Since its initial launch three months ago, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has received several updates, the most recent of these being Update 3 and 3.1 which sees Massive Entertainment’s open-world title receive several quality-of-life improvements and gameplay fixes. These updates continue to improve the game, which is based on the Avatar film series by James Cameron.

These are by no means small updates, both Update 3 and 3.1 have whopping install sizes of 9.6 GB and 2.31 GB on PC, 9.4 GB and 2.7 GB on Xbox Series X/S, and 7.1 GB and 1.7 GB on PS5 respectively. The main focus of these updates is to improve the overall gameplay experience as well as traversal across the planet of Pandora. A big part of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is its exploration and gathering, as players need to navigate through the various environments and gather materials used for crafting.

Due to the size of Pandora, exploration for first-time players can seem daunting at first, but hopefully with the new quality of life improvements added to Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, players should have an easier time navigating through the forests and plains of the alien planet. Some of the more interesting improvements include; players now have the ability to control the strength of the camera’s motion blur, Na’vi Sense has been improved and will show more harvestable items and characters, investigation clues are more easily detected by Na’vi Sense, and players can return to stealth easier after being seen by enemy units.

This is just a fraction of the many changes included in Update 3 and 3.1, and a full list of changes made to Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora can be found on both the game’s official website and Steam store page. Hopefully, if Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora continues to receive these updates, players will be able to explore the planet of Pandora to their heart’s content and not get lost so often as before.
