The Resurgence map for Warzone 2 may have been leaked, and Activision are taking steps to remove the images online. An image was shared via the r/CODWarzone Reddit channel last Sunday (November 4) of what could be the new iteration of the Resurgence map. The image was lifted from a Call of Duty Facebook group, and shared to Reddit by user iamDEVANS.
Unlike the original Resurgence Map, which supported 40 players in one match, this new iteration will reportedly host 50. The new map supports a single Ground War area and the DMZ. While the details of the DMZ can be found here, the mode is expected to be a brand new open-world extraction mode that allows squads to compete in faction-based missions.

The Reddit post remains, for the time being, viewable via the link further below. However, a photo uploaded to the Modern Warfare 2 Leaks Twitter account was removed “in response to a report from the copyright holder.” It’s often a curious move if a developer steps in to pull down content on the grounds of a copyright claim, which lends some credibility to the leak being the real deal. As always, until official word comes through from the studio themselves, nothing is confirmed.
