The World Ends with You: Final Remix Releases in Japan This September

We now have a Japanese release date for The World Ends with You: Final Remix.

The World Ends with You: Final Remix will release in Japan on September 29th for the Nintendo Switch. The game will run for 4,800 yen. Along with the release date announcement, a new trailer has been released for the upcoming title, which can be seen below.

It was also revealed that there will be a Square Enix store exclusive limited edition of the game. Dubbed the “It’s a Wonderful Bag” edition, this version comes with a copy of the game, an art book, a soundtrack, a stylus for the Switch, 12 Tin Pin Slammer stickers, three makie stickers, a Neku acrylic stand-up figure, and a tote bag. The “It’s a Wonderful Bag” edition will cost gamers 17,000 yen.

A fall release window for The World Ends with You: Final Remix was given at Nintendo’s E3 2018 Direct presentation a few weeks ago. This version of the game allows players to ether use Joy-Con controllers or the Switch’s touch screen. The title will also feature HD visuals and a new epilogue that will expand on the game’s story.

The World Ends with You: Final Remix will feature new songs and arrangements by composer Takeharu Ishimoto, as well as high-quality versions of the original tracks. Players will have the ability to switch between the original songs or the new songs and arrangements.
