Xbox One getting backwards compatibility

The Xbox One is joining the ranks of the Wii U as Microsoft announced Backwards compatibility is on its way to the Xbox One. During their E3 conference earlier today the company announced that backwards compatibility for the console will arrive in Fall allowing Xbox 360 games to be played in the console.

While a plethora of games will begin to roll out over the next few months for Xbox Preview users, an initial set of games are available today. While physical copies will work, meaning that players will never have to purchase the same games twice, digital 360 games will show up automatically.

All Xbox 360 games will run like they do on the 360, however they will use the Xbox One’s features which is a pretty good thing.
