According to the PlayStationBlog, the open world action adventure game Yakuza 0 will remain a PlayStation 4 exclusive in North America. The game was initially released in Japan for both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 back in March 2015.

As the name suggests, Yakuza 0 will act as a prequel to all previous Yakuza games. The game will still feature protagonist Kazuma Kiryu as he tries to uncover the truth behind the “the Vacant Lot” incident.

In his post on the PlayStationBlog, Scott Strichart, the games localization producer mentioned that for the first time since Yakuza 2 on the PlayStation 2, Yakuza 0 will feature English chapter titles, character introductions, opponent names and on screen directions in English.

Strichart goes on to say that Yakuza 0 will continue to offer the side missions from games prior such as pocket races, managing your side business, and chatting up girls on the telephone.

Yakuza 0 will launch in North America on January 24, 2017 exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
