The announcement of a port of Final Fantasy VII to the Playstation 4 yesterday was big news, the game was one of the most sought after releases in the franchises history, though as it turns out Playstation 4 is not the only system the port is planned for.
Square Enix has revealed that Final Fantasy VII will be hitting IOS this August, suggesting smartphones to be the preferred release method for this port of the game. A release window has also been given to the Playstation 4 version with Square Enix providing a less definite window of this winter, we will have to wait and see for further news on the release date for the Playstation 4 version of the game.
