Jingliu is Jing Yuan’s master, who has gone insane after becoming a Mara-struck. She has now devoted her life to an unknown cause and is cooperating with the mysterious Luocha. If you get her from the rerun banner, you can check out this Honkai Star Rail guide to find out the best build for Jingliu.
HSR Best Jingliu Build
Although she no longer holds the title of the best DPS after Acheron‘s release, Jingliu is still a powerful character. She can deal a ton of damage to multiple enemies, but her Eidolon also lets her become a single-target attack DPS.
- Light Cone: I Shall Be My Own Sword
- Alternatives: On the Fall of an Aeon, Something Irreplaceable, A Secret Vow, Under the Blue Sky
- Relics: Hunter of Glacial Forest
- Body: CRIT DMG or CRIT Rate
- Feet: SPD or ATK%
- Planar Ornaments: Rutilant Arena
- Sphere: Ice DMG Bonus
- Rope: ATK%
- Trace Priority: Talent > Skill > Ultimate > Basic Attack
- Eidolons: E1
If you don’t have Jingliu’s signature Light Cone, I Shall Be My Own Sword, you can use On the Fall of an Aeon. This item is available for sale in Herta’s Shop. Other viable options are Something Irreplaceable and A Secret Vow.
Since Jingliu has an Ice element, the best Artifact for her is the Hunter of Glacial Forest set. On the other hand, you can equip the Rutilant Arena set as Jingliu’s Planar Ornament to boost her CRIT Rate and damage.
If you have extra Stellar Jades, you can consider unlocking Jingliu’s E1, Moon Crashes Tianguan Gate. Besides increasing her CRIT DMG, this Eidolon also boosts her damage against one enemy when using her Ultimate or Enhanced Skill.
I recommend upgrading Jingliu’s Talent first to increase her CRIT Rate during the Spectral Transmigration state. Then, you can level up her Skill and Ultimate to boost her damage output.
