Aventurine is one of the Ten Stonehearts that you will encounter in Penacony. While he may seem untrustworthy, you may soon grow fond of him as you progress through the main story. If you pull for him in his limited-time banner, you can check out this Honkai Star Rail guide to find out the best build for Aventurine.
HSR Best Aventurine Build
Aventurine is a Tank that can perform follow-up attacks. He is also fairly easy to build compared to DPS units that demand CRIT stats.
- Light Cone: Inherently Unjust Destiny
- Alternatives: Moment of Victory, Concert for Two, This Is Me!, Trend of the Universal Market, Destiny’s Threads Forewoven
- Relics: Knight of Purity Palace
- Body: DEF%, CRIT Rate, or CRIT DMG
- Feet: SPD
- Planar Ornaments: Broken Keel
- Sphere: Imaginary DMG or DEF%
- Rope: DEF%
- Trace Priority: Skill > Talent >Ultimate > Basic Attack
- Eidolons: E1
Besides Aventurine’s signature Light Cone, Inherently Unjust Destiny, you can equip Moment of Victory as a viable alternative. If you want to use him with Acheron, you should choose Trend of the Universal Market to apply debuffs on your enemies. Other good 4-star Light Cones include Concert for Two, This Is Me!, and Destiny’s Threads Forewoven.
If you want to build Aventurine as a Tank, you can equip the Knight of Purity Palace set. However, the Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters set is also a valid choice if you prefer Aventurine to deal more damage.
I recommend using the Broken Set as Aventurine’s Planar Ornaments since it will grant CRIT DMG to your team. Another good set is Inert Salsotto, which boosts his CRIT Rate and the damage from his follow-up attack and Ultimate.
When upgrading Aventurine’s Traces, you should prioritize his Skill to strengthen his shield. After that, you can upgrade Talent to increase his Effect RES buff and his Ultimate for more damage.
The best Eidolon to unlock is Aventurine’s E1, Prisoner’s Dilemma. This Eidolon lets his shields provide a CRIT DMG buff, and he can also create shields after unleashing his Ultimate.
That’s the end of our guide on how to build Aventurine. For more HSR content, check out our post on whether you should pull for Acheron or Aventurine.
