EA Says They’re “All In” On Battlefield 6 Ahead Of “Ambitious” Multiplayer Reveal

EA just had their earnings call for Q1 2026, and amongst all the corporate speak relating to financials and forecasts, there was plenty of discussion regarding the upcoming Battlefield 6. The first campaign trailer recently dropped for the highly anticipated shooter, and there’s also a full multiplayer reveal event set to air live around the world tomorrow on July 31, so Battlefield is certainly a hot topic for EA.

EA’s CEO Andrew Wilson responded to a question regarding the scale of Battlefield 6‘s marketing by stating that this next Battlefield has more investment from the company than any other game in the franchise before, stating that they’re “all in as a company on it”. According to Wilson, Battlefield 6 is not simply a “product”, but rather the beginning of “Battlefield as a platform”, which he promises we’ll hear more about at the multiplayer reveal.

EA is investing millions of dollars into Battlefield 6 marketing around the world.

The July 31 multiplayer reveal is said to be a “massive multiplayer showcase”, Wilson said in his earnings remarks, describing the livestream event as “our most ambitious reveal yet”. Along with content creators streaming Battlefield 6 gameplay, we’ll also get a behind-the-scenes peek from the Battlefield developers into the workings of Battlefield 6, including its maps and game modes.

Not only is Battlefield 6 looking like a massive game from a content perspective, but so too is the investment from EA into it. Remarks from Stuart Canfield, the Chief Financial Officer at EA, state that their operating expenses this year will range from $1.215 billion to $1.235 billion. The specifics for this enormous investment in operating costs is clarified as being “driven by marketing related to upcoming launches, notably Battlefield 6‘. That’s a lot of money for Battlefield marketing, as EA take a bold step back into the live service first-person shooter genre.
