Ace Attorney Trilogy Announced for Consoles and Steam

A few weeks ago, Capcom made a statement about their Ace Attorney Tokyo Game Show panel, which they said was “unmissable.” So what could we expect from this panel? The announcement of the latest game in the series perhaps? If that is what you hoped for, then you are sadly out of luck. But they did make an announcement that might excite some fans to the series: The original three Ace Attorney games are coming to all current consoles, as well as Steam.

This trilogy isn’t exactly new. Capcom originally released this collection on the 3DS back in 2014, and the original games came out in the early 2000s on the Nintendo DS. However, this will be the first time the games will see release on Steam or a dedicated console with high-definition graphics to improve the overall presentation, and it will come with an option for either English or Japanese voices.

At present the game, has only been confirmed for Japan with an early 2019 release window cited, although it would be unsurprising if this collection is brought to the rest of the world around the same time or shortly after.

The Ace Attorney trilogy includes the first Ace Attorney, Justice for All, and Trials and Tribulations. You can look forward to the games on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
