As if today wasn’t a big enough day for Fortnite fans thanks to the new Sabrina Carpenter collaboration, it just got even bigger! The official Fortnite account has just announced via its social media that a collaboration with 2010’s Cartoon Network series Adventure Time is coming – and it drops this Friday! The announcement posts state “we’re going to very distant lands”, and come with some cropped images of a few of Adventure Time‘s most iconic characters, including Finn the Human, Jake the Dog, Princess Bubblegum and Marceline the Vampire Queen.
Reliable Fortnite leaker Shiina over on X (formerly Twitter) has compiled a list of all known Adventure Time cosmetics we can expect to see releasing this Friday. This includes skins for Jake, Finn, Princess Bubblegum and Marceline, with the latter two coming with an instrument and the former two coming with car skins. We imagine the full item store bundles will also come with more in the way of emotes, pickaxes and the like.
We’re looking forward to seeing how Fortnite stylizes the Adventure Time characters in 3D, especially after the other animated series crossovers we’ve had in the battle royale. From Futurama to Family Guy to Naruto, there have been a lot of reinventions of 2D animated characters in the 3D Fortnite space, and it’s always cool to see.
