Animal Crossing amiibo cards to work on Wii U

An image released by Nintendo confirms that the Animal Crossing amiibo cards will work on Wii U, but it is unknown how they will work with Animal Crossing amiibo Party. It has also been revealed that card packs will only contain 6 cards per pack, and the first set of cards will have 100 cards in total.  However, more sets will be released later, so eventually there should be a card for every character in the game. The Animal Crossing amiibo cards release alongside Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer on September 22.
