It has been a while since we last heard about Quantic Dreams last two games making their way to the Playstation 4. Announced a while back, Sony has been pretty quiet on when we would be seeing Beyond: Two Souls and Heavy Rain making their way to the Playstation 4, however their silence has been broken as they revealed that Beyond: Two Souls will be the first to arrive. The game is set to launch next week on November 24th, from what I can tell these games will only be released digitally much to my disappointment.
The PS4 edition will feature 1080p resolution, improved lighting and shadows, along with motion blur, bloom and depth of field effects. Decisions are now highlighted at the end of each scene and can be compared to others, similar to that of Telltale games, the difficulty has been increased and the “Enhanced Experiments” DLC will be included. Finally, after beating the game, players will have the ability to play the game in chronological order.
Along with Beyond: Two Souls, Heavy Rain has received a release date of March 1, 2016. Both games will be available digitally at $29.99. You can see the launch trailer for the Playstation 4 version of Beyond: Two Souls below:
