She had a good run, but it’s almost curtain call for the short and sweet Sabrina Carpenter, the current leading artist on Fortnite‘s musical game mode Fortnite Festival. The next headlining artist has already been revealed on Fortnite‘s website, as the GRAMMY award-winning Bruno Mars is going to take the stage in Fortnite Festival Season 9 as their dedicated Icon performer from June 18.
As with other Fortnite Festival Icons, Bruno will come with both an unlockable Festival Pass skin along with a separate Item Shop bundle for purchase. The Festival skin is inspired by his appearance in the Die with a Smile music video, featuring former Fortnite Festival icon Lady Gaga. His Item Shop skin meanwhile has two styles, both with Brazilian-inspired attire. You can see the Item Shop bundle for yourself below!
Bruno Mars will headline the Fortnite Festival for the next few months, until whoever comes along to replace him sometime in late August-early September. Fortnite shows no bias when it comes to selecting artists, with their Fortnite Festival Icon roster already ranging from Snoop Dogg to Metallica, and from Hatsune Miku to The Weeknd.
