The Open Beta for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III begins today (October 8) at 10AM PT for the entire PlayStation community, and ends next Tuesday (October 10 at 10 AM PT). The four days between October 6-10 are classified as ‘Weekend One’ exclusive to the PS4 and PS5 communities.

In that time, PlayStation Early Access launched for two days between October 6-7. If you missed it, you’ve plenty of time to drop back in before the Beta ends.

‘Weekend Two’ rolls out from October 12-16 – otherwise known as the Crossplay Beta. Early Access launches from October 12-13 exclusively for the Xbox and PC communities. An Open Beta for PlayStation launches the same day. From October 14-16, all platforms can play.

If you’ve pre-ordered a digital copy of the title, you will not need a Beta code to participate. A code will be automatically assigned to players. If you’ve pre-ordered a physical copy of the title, the Beta code can be found on a store or email-issued receipt.

Four maps and four game modes will be accessible in the Beta across the first weekend. The maps are as follows: Ground War Map – Popov Power, Skidrow, and Estate. Rust will be available in the Open Beta. The game modes include Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, and Ground War.
