Casual Mexican chain Chipotle recently unveiled the brand new “Tony Hawk Burrito,” a flavor-packed, surprisingly healthy offering inspired by the skater’s usual order. The new entree features brown rice, black beans, chunks of grilled chicken, shredded cheese, signature Chipotle guacamole and red chili and tomatillo salsa, all wrapped up in a tasty tortilla. Plus, it comes with a fresh, steaming-hot side of….gaming?
That’s right! Chipotle has announced that the first 2,000 customers to purchase a Tony Hawk Burrito via the Chipotle mobile app will get free access to the warehouse demo of upcoming title Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2. The demo is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Those interested in redeeming this offer must make an account via the Chipotle app.
The burrito itself is only available until this Friday, August 14, so try one while you can!
The spicy Mexican-flavored fun doesn’t end there! On Friday, August 14 at 2PM EST, Tony Hawk will appear alongside fellow skater Jagger Eaton and actor Finn Wolfhard (IT, Stranger Things) for an approximately two hour livestream on the official Chipotle Twitch channel. In addition to playing through the Pro Skater demo, Hawk and friends will be giving away FIVE THOUSAND burritos to lucky viewers – so you definitely shouldn’t miss it!
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is a fully remastered edition of the first two titles in the beloved skating series. In addition to classic maps and tracks, it will feature new skaters, new songs and various quality of life updates introduced later in the series, including the ability to perform Lip Tricks and Wall Plants. It was announced by the skater himself in May and is planned to release on September 4, 2020.
