Cooler is Coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ

It seems that Frieza’s older brother, Cooler, is coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Following the Dragon Ball FighterZ tournament at EVO 2018, a trailer was shown (see below), featuring a cinematic of upcoming fighters Base Goku and Base Vegeta. At the end of the trailer, we are introduced to Cooler, who then proceeds to dominate. No exact release date was given for the upcoming DLC fighter, though he will likely be released after Base Goku and Base Vegeta, who releases on August 8th.

Bandai Namco also recently announced the dates for the open beta for the Nintendo Switch version of FighterZ. The open beta will run from Friday, August 10th at 12:00 a.m. ET to Sunday, August 12th at 3:00 a.m. ET. There will be 23 characters available during the beta, as well as 5 modes. This includes a new feature called the “Extreme Type” control scheme. This allows gamers to switch between the regular controls and the “Extreme Type” controls, which allows players to execute special moves with ease.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game will release on the Nintendo Switch on September 28th.
