CD Projekt Red just announced a new REDstream showcase dedicated to the upcoming Patch 2.3 for Cyberpunk 2077. Fans have been anticipating the new update for a long time, but the confirmed livestream coming tomorrow on July 16 all but confirms it’ll be here sooner rather than later.
The Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.3 Overview REDStream airs live on YouTube and Twitch tomorrow at 5PM CEST. That’s 8AM PST, 11AM EST or 4PM BST for those in either coastal American or British time zones. The long-awaited Patch 2.3 was originally set for a June 26 release, but got pushed back due to the team needing a little longer to deliver on the scope they wanted for the next Cyberpunk 2077 update. We’ve got no idea what’s actually included in the update, but we know it’ll be a similar size in terms of new content as Patch 2.2 that added new car and character customization options.
CD Projekt Red do seem to be teasing something related to cars for Patch 2.3, as their post over on X (formerly Twitter) says they’re going to “check what’s under the hood of the latest update” on tomorrow’s REDstream. In response to a fan speculating that new content will be related to vehicles, they responded with a gif image of a car speeding and raising up on its back wheels. It’s only a small hint, but it does have us curious what’s coming next.
