Cyberpunk 2077 Special Edition Xbox One X Also Comes With Free DLC

The Special Edition Cyberpunk 2077 version of the Xbox One X console is already a pretty sweet deal. Not only do you get a brightly colored exclusive version of the console inspired by the upcoming futuristic RPG from CD Projekt RED, but it also comes with a similarly themed console, a copy of the game, and a free one-month membership to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. (That’s the version that lets you access hundreds of beloved games for both PC and console!)

Now, CD Projekt has sweetened the deal even further. Listings for the package have been updated to include information regarding the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 DLC. In addition to a copy of the base game, the first expansion will also be included for no extra charge — plus, the expansion will be downloaded directly to your console immediately upon release.

So far, while we know that Cyberpunk 2077 itself will be released on September 17, 2020, we don’t have a planned release date for any DLC. However, CD Projekt has confirmed that the title will have “no less DLC than The Witcher III had” — which implies that any expansions will be quite substantial indeed. The 2015 open-world RPG released 16 pieces of free DLC in addition to two sprawling, highly-praised expansions that added hours of additional gameplay.

One final bonus: Cyberpunk 2077 has been confirmed to be a part of Xbox’s brand new “Smart Delivery” system. This means that if you buy the Xbox One version of the game — such as the one included with the exclusive edition console — you’ll also be able to score the Xbox Series X version at no additional cost. You can add this colorful console to your collection and play the highly anticipated game on next-generation consoles for the same low price!

Only 45,000 of this special Xbox One X will be produced and sold, so grab yours while you still can! Purchasers located in the United States can receive an extra $100 off the bundle if it is purchased between now and June 15.
