In Dave the Diver, there is a lot to do in the Blue Hole, ranging from catching various fish and fighting vicious creatures to collecting rare items. Since catching fish to serve in the Sushi Bar plays a major role in the game, having a good range of weapons essential. You should prioritize upgrading your weapons, which include your Dive Knife, Harpoon Gun, and Gun.
However, upgrading weapons in Dave the Diver might seem like a complicated process, as it can be done in multiple ways. This guide will cover every method of upgrading your many different weapons in Dave the Diver.
How To Upgrade Weapons In Dave The Diver
You can upgrade your Weapons in two ways: temporarily or permanently.
To upgrade your weapons temporarily, while traversing through the vast sea, you will encounter specific crates with a shining yellow pistol symbol. These crates contain items that can be used to upgrade your weapons. They may have different weapon types or a level up for your current Knife, Gun, or Harpoon. Sadly, these upgrades will automatically get removed once you return back to the surface – so you should look for upgrades each and every time you dive!
On the other hand, permanent upgrades can be made in Duff’s Shop, which you will unlock after defeating the first game boss, the Giant Squid. Once you do, Duff will then open an extra section in his shop, allowing you to level up your weapons permanently. Just open Duff’s weapon shop on your Phone and check out the guns you want to upgrade. If you have the required materials—which, of course, are found by exploring the ocean – click OK to enter the cutscene where Duff starts to modify your weapon. And there you go! Your weapon upgrading is done, and this one does NOT go away each time you dive.
That’s all you need to know about upgrading your weapons in Dave the Diver. If you find this guide helpful, share it with your friends. And do let us know if you have any questions in mind regarding this game or if you want any specific topics to be covered in future guides!
