Final Fantasy 16: How To Find & Defeat Gorgimera

The Tricephalic Terror is an S-Rank Notorious Mark bounty you can take on after completing the Across the Narrow main quest in Final Fantasy 16. The poster on the Hunt Board only mentions the beast is located in the Velkroy Desert, but, since the area is quite massive, some players may have trouble locating the creature. Instead of wasting time running around in the hot desert, you can read this guide to find and take down the vicious Gorgimera and claim this Hunt’s rewards!

Final Fantasy 16 Tricephalic Terror Hunt Guide

Final Fantasy 16 Gorgimera Location

You can find the Gorgimera southeast of the Velkroy Desert Obelisk or northwest of the Dalimil Inn. Since there is no tall vegetation or large structures in this area, you should be able to notice the hulking figure that stalks the dunes from far away.

The Tricephalic Terror’s basic attacks include claw strikes, aerial lunges, and magical projectiles. However, the monster can also cast Delta Attack, which is a large AoE magic attack with a circular area. You must escape the casting zone before the three magic pillars combine, or you’ll get hurt.

Gorgimera can also perform The Dragon’s Voice, which calls numerous lightning bolts. You can avoid this move by using Phoenix Shift and teleporting right next to the boss.

Final Fantasy 16 Gorgimera Delta Force

When the boss is dying, it will cast its ultimate magic, Delta Force, which is a massive magical spell consisting of four Delta Attacks. At this point, forget about attacking and focus on getting out of the danger zone before the spell is completed!

Defeating the Tricephalic Terror will give you 15,000 XP, 120 Ability Points, 20,000 Gil, and 50 Renown. You will also receive one Orichalcum, which you can use to craft the best sword in the game, the Gotterdammerung.

That is everything you need to know about finding and beating the Tricephalic Terror, Gorgimera, in Final Fantasy 16. If you need more help with the game, consider checking out other guides on GameLuster below. You should also take out other Notorious Marks on the Hunt Board since they drop valuable crafting materials, such as Dark Steel.
