In Dead Island 2, as we progress through the story, things keep getting more challenging with the different types of zombie battles that come our way. And, to stand up against these creatures, one must acquire every sort of weapon which can help them out during the entire playthrough.
Luckily, there are a myriad of weapons to collect in Dead Island 2. Most of them can be collected as a reward upon completing missions, but some might require special keys to unlock since they are locked behind chests and safes. Where To Find Mailman’s Keys in Dead Island 2
In order to get started, you must first locate the crate that is unlockable with Mailman’s Key. While walking down the streets in Bel-Air, you will see a delivery truck named Fastdel, and just beside it on the ground is kept the ‘Special Delivery Crate.’ Now that you have found said crate, you must find the Mailman’s Keys to unlock it. This can happen by triggering one of the Lost and Found side quests, My Mailman Was A Zombie.
You can start the My Mailman Was A Zombie quest by picking up the journal named ‘Signature Required,’ kept right next to the Special Delivery Crate. Once picked, you will need to find three different boxes in three different locations. To make it simpler for you, we have mentioned the locations of the boxes below:
- First Box: You will find it in the GOAT Pen Mansion.
- Second Box: You will find it by the Colt Swanson Mansion.
- Third Box: You will find it in Mr. and Mrs. Doe’s Mansion.
In the final location, besides locating the third box, you need to kill a specific zombie named Wayne The Mailman, whom you can discover at the backside of the orange-colored house. Killing this zombie will reward you with a lot of collectibles, including the Mailman’s Keys, so make sure to defeat him once you get there.
With all that done, head back to the location of the black delivery truck and open the Special Delivery Crate to collect Raven and a good amount of XP.
