Everyone’s favorite Horadric scholar Deckard Cain is making his way to the Nexus. This unseemly old man might soon be a force to reckon with once he becomes available this month in Heroes of the Storm.
Deckard Cain is a support with strong crowd control and area denial ability. His passive trait Fortitude of the Faithful rewards players that stick close to teammates, granting Deckard armor and reduced cooldown on abilities.
His support skill is Healing Potion. He throws out up to five potions onto the field that are able to be picked up by allies. His Horadric Cube ability damages and slows enemies as it explodes in a cube shape. Scroll of Sealing creates a triangle that, upon fully forming, will damage and root enemies inside.
Stay a While and Listen is his first heroic ability. As Deckard reads from his book, it creates a large arc that puts any enemy within its radius to sleep. His other heroic ability, Lorenado, shoots out a book-filled tornado that damages and pushes any enemy it contacts.
