Domain Registered For A Potential Persona 4 Remake

It’s good news today for Persona fans, as developers Atlus have been spotted registering a web domain for a Persona 4 remake. The domain registered by Atlus was ‘P4Re.jp’ – the exact same structure and format as ‘P3Re.jp’, the official website for the remake of the third title that released as Persona 3 Reload. This trend of leaking domains has happened before, as YouTuber Faz points out over on X (formerly Twitter), stating that two years ago the Persona 3 remake domain was registered, then three months later it was revealed.

This official domain being registered is a promising sign that by summer it’s quite likely we’ll have heard of a remake for Persona 4, at least if the same pattern of events follows through. We certainly hope it does, with Persona 4 being an incredible game even despite its age, and the enhanced Persona 4 Golden at least managed to tide us over until now.

The Persona series and its remakes/remasters have been a profitable venture for Atlus.

Fans are still eagerly awaiting news on Persona 6 too, but with the news that a Persona 4 remake site has been registered it seems more likely now that we’ll hear from that first. As a fan of Atlus’ games I’ll take as many as we can get, but it seems likely from a business standpoint that Atlus will only release one title at a time to give each their own time in the spotlight, and with a domain registered we’ve never been closer to that Persona 4 remake reality.

Have you ever played Persona 4, and do you want to see a full-blown remake from Atlus? Would you rather see Persona 6 first? Sound off in the comments below, and keep your eyes on GameLuster for more breaking gaming news, updates and the latest from Atlus’ Persona franchise!
