Don’t Starve: Giant Edition will arrive on the North American eShop on May 28th

Don’t Starve has been around for a couple of years now, but in this time it has grown quite popular for its playstyle among other things. If you own a Playstation console or are a PC gamer you have likely played Don’t Starve and seen how interesting the game is but in the coming weeks there will be a new platform option, the Wii U. It was announced months back that Don’t Starve: Giant Edition would be arriving for the Wii U eShop, we were only waiting for an announcement for when the indie title would make its debut. However, thanks to a listing on Nintendo’s website it seems Klei Entertainment is bringing the game out in North America on May 28th, for the affordable price of $14.99.

In case you have never experienced the game here is an overview to explain what Don’t Starve is all about:

Don’t Starve: Giant Edition is an uncompromising wilderness survival game full of science and magic.

You play as Wilson, an intrepid Gentleman Scientist who has been trapped by a demon and transported to a mysterious wilderness world. Wilson must learn to exploit his environment and its inhabitants if he ever hopes to escape and find his way back home.

Don’t Starve: Giant Edition combines the content of both the original Don’t Starve game, and the Reign of Giants expansion pack, which adds new characters, seasons, creatures, biomes, and other challenges to Don’t Starve.

Klei Entertainment will also have a deal for buying Don’t Starve: Giant Edition with buying the game scoring you two copies of the game, one for you and one for your friend or family member. That is a good deal.
