Famitsu: Donkey Kong Stays #1 As Black Myth: Wukong Takes #3

Every Thursday we share the weekly Famitsu sales charts, which tracks physical boxed game sales and hardware sales in Japan. This week’s chart covers Jan. 27 – Feb. 2, as Donkey Kong Country Returns HD scores a third week on top thanks to an additional 22,000 copies sold. Its sales are starting to slip though, as Super Mario Party Jamboree is a close second with 18,000 sales this week.

There are three new debuts this week, as Black Myth: Wukong gets a physical PS5 release that sold a little over 10,000 units to secure #3 on the chart, whilst card-based strategy RPG Cardfight!! Vanguard Dear Days 2 follows close behind with a little under 9,000 sales. Finally, turn-based RPG Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero manages to just grab a spot at #9 with almost 4,000 units sold.
