Final Fantasy XV reaches development milestones

The development of Final Fantasy XV is really getting somewhere now as Square Enix celebrates a couple of major milestones in the games development. Programmer Satoshi Kitade recently took to the official Final Fantasy XV forums (translated by Gematsu) and has revealed that Final Fantasy XV is finally out of pre-beta and is playable from start to finish.

“We’re at the point where we can play the game in its entirety from start to finish. From this, everyone on the development team can get an overall view on the game.”

As we know the game is finally die to arrive in 2016 and as they draw closer to this release window the studio’s focus now changes as they focus on polish and adjustments to the base gameplay.

“The first half of the game is finished with the quality of a final product, and you get the sense you’re playing it in its final form.”

It has been a long and bumpy road since the game arrived in 2006 but finally the light is beginning to shine and soon enough the game will arrive, the question is will the game live up to our standards when it arrives.
