Ghostwire: Tokyo: How To Get The Fallout Outfit

No one will argue that Akito is a stylish dude in Ghostwire: Tokyo. Despite the world falling into paranormal ruin all around him, he still knows that it’s important to look your best when trying to stop a demonic invasion. Sure, you’re playing in first person so you can only really admire your drip during cutscenes or in the menu, but it’s the effort that counts!

One outfit in the game is tucked away as a little homage to another Bethesda franchise – Fallout. While there’s certainly a case to be made that these two games have next to nothing in common, it’s still a fun time to see Akito donning the iconic jumpsuit. This guide will help you deck out Akito in full Fallout style in Ghostwire: Tokyo.

How To Get The Fallout Outfit In Ghostwire: Tokyo

The Fallout outfit, or more accurately the Vault suit from Fallout, is your reward for completing the side mission titled “The Crimson Moon.” You can start this mission once you hit Chapter 3, after doing the “Observation Deck” mission. Simply answer the phone at the Construction Labyrinth to start it.

This mission just asks you to go to three marked locations on your map to gather lunar readings on the blood moon with a special device you’re given for this mission. Just head to each spot one at a time, point your device at the moon, and then go back to the phone booth you started from. After a quick conversation, the quest will end and the Vault suit will be added to the Outfits tab of your inventory. It’s titled Fallout 4 Vault 111, and is a perfect replica of the iconic blue jumpsuit from the series.

Aside from all the magic and paranormal events going on in Ghostwire: Tokyo, there is a bit of similarity with Fallout in the sense that you’re one of the very few survivors of an apocalyptic event. It’s just that instead of nuclear bombs, it’s invading Yokai. What do you think? Do you like little Easter eggs like this or prefer games not to reference other ones?
