Immortals Fenyx Rising to Receive Season Pass DLC

Ubisoft’s upcoming action-adventure title Immortals Fenyx Rising is scheduled to release on December 3, 2020. Today, a full two weeks before the title’s debut, Ubisoft has announced a Season Pass DLC which will consist of three story-driven expansions.

The expansions were revealed in a video trailer released on YouTube earlier today.

The first expansion, A New God, will feature protagonist Fenyx traveling to Olympus, the home of the gods. There, she will face a series of challenges created by the gods who she met during the main game. If Fenyx can pass the Trial of the Olympians, she may even be granted access into the exclusive Inner Circle of the Pantheon – but she has to survive many dangers and battles first.

The second, Myths of the Eastern Realm, moves away from Greek stories and gods to introduce Chinese mythology into the world of Fenyx Rising. It will introduce a new hero, Ku, who will fight using a style inspired by Chinese martial arts, and a new open world for players to explore.

Finally, the third expansion, The Lost Gods, will star Ash, a new champion chosen by Fenyx herself. It will not just introduce a new playable character, but also a new combat system, as it will utilize a top-down brawler-inspired system rather than the third-person action-adventure style featured in the main game and previous expansions. Ash must journey across a new island in order to find the missing gods and restore peace and balance to the world.

The Season Pass will be included with the Gold Edition of Immortals: Fenyx Rising. It will also be available for purchase separately immediately following the game’s release in December.

Official release dates for any of the three expansions have not yet been announced. More information will likely be released once the game itself hits the market.

Immortals Fenyx Rising will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Stadia.
