The final character who will be coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ’s FighterZ Pass 2 will be the vicious Janemba. The news was leaked on the Nintendo UK site, which has since been taken down. According to the site, the character will come with 5 alternate colors for his outfit, a Lobby Avatar, and a Z Stamp.
As the last fighter in the FighterZ Pass 2, Janemba will be joining the already released Jiren, Videl, and Kid Goku (from Dragon Ball GT). Other characters that are on the way through the pass are Broly from Dragon Ball Super Broly and Gogeta SSGSS.
It is likely that the announcement for Jenamba coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ as a playable character was going to be announced at EVO 2019, which begins this weekend. FighterZ is one of nine games being featured at this year’s EVO tournament, along with other titles such as Street Fighter V, Soul Calibur VI, Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Mortal Kombat 11. The tournament will begin on August 2 and will run through August 4.
For those who do not know, Janemba appeared in the 1995 animated film Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn. He is considered to be the embodiment of evil and is able to use dangerous reality-warping powers, allowing him to transform the universe around him. He is also an accomplished martial artist, as he takes on both Goku and Vegeta on in hand-to-hand combat and stand up to them. He is a very proud villain, which is also his main weakness. Janemba is weakened by both doubt and insults.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
