The runaway success of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has shown no signs of stopping, as the developers over at Warhorse Studios have announced that in just three months, sales of the medieval RPG crossed three million copies. This is an enormous milestone, with Kingdom Come: Deliverance II previously selling two million copies in its first two weeks. Interest in the game has maintained throughout the year, and we can’t wait to see how far the sales can go by the end of 2025!
To put the success of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II in perspective, it took the first game in the series 28 months, over two years, to reach 3 million sales. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II managed to reach that same number in three months – that’s over nine times faster! This exponential growth in sales is a sign of not just maintained interest in the franchise, but a rapidly rising one too. We’re excited for what’s next for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, including its planned expansion DLCs.
Warhorse Studios also gave an update on sales of the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance, with the 2018 game having now surpassed 10 million copies sold over the past seven years. With Kingdom Come: Deliverance II selling so much faster than its predecessor, we can’t wait to see the sales updates we’ll be receiving for that game in seven years time!
