Visual Novel Tokyo School Life Coming to Switch Valentine’s Day 2019

The Nintendo Switch has been accumulating a decent library of visual novel titles over the past year, and more are set to come in the future with the latest Tokyo School Life. PQube has revealed that they will be bringing Dogenzaka Lab and M2’s romantic visual novel to the platform on Valentine’s Day 2019, certainly fitting with the romantic theme.

For those not familiar with Tokyo School Life, the story has players set off on a trip to Tokyo as an exchange student. Once there, you meet three girls and spend time with them. Across the whole summer, you explore the city, eat lunch together, and potentially grow closer to these girls.

Tokyo School Life previously released on Steam back in 2015, receiving positive reviews from users.

The game features fully animated characters who are each voiced by Japanese voice actors. Each girl will react appropriately as you interact with them, and choices made through the adventure will affect your relationships as you progress. The game also features an assortment of different text options, letting you display the text in English, Kana, Romaji, and Kanji. The developers hope that with these options available players might potentially pick up some basic Japanese as they play the game.

Tokyo School Life launches on Switch on Feb. 14, offering a perfect day for some romantic exploits. You can check out the announcement trailer below.
