Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 is here, and with it comes a whole bunch of new leaks, including a certain Jedi. Star Wars characters have made many appearances in Fortnite before, but the latest leak hints at the legendary Luke Skywalker making his debut. The leak comes from iFireMonkey on Twitter, who noted that Luke Skywalker’s lightsabers have been added to the game’s files.
The presence of Luke’s lightsabers is fairly solid evidence that he will arrive to the game at some point as a skin. Other lightsabers have appeared in the game before in past seasons, belonging to Kylo Ren, Rey and Darth Vader; all of which received skins too. The exception to this is Mace Windu, with his lightsaber appearing but without a skin.
Luke having two lightsabers could suggest at two variations of his skin. The blue lightsaber represents his look in A New Hope where he first wields the blade, whilst the green one suggests an appearance of the more mature Return of the Jedi version of Luke. Having these two iconic outfits as skin variants would leave Star Wars fans spoilt for choice when it comes to which one to use.
Collaboration skins frequently feature accompanying Gliders, Pickaxes and Back Blings. We don’t like to speculate too much, but Luke having a Yoda Back Bling harkening back to his Empire Strikes Back training would be a perfect match. An X-Wing Glider already exists in the game, but it’s a darker Vanguard Squadron X-Wing, leaving a small chance that Luke could have his iconic red and white ship appear at some point too.
