Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order has just received the first of three DLC packs that are set to add more content to the game. A free update has also been made available for everyone who owns the game.
The developers of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 have now released the ‘DLC Pack 1 – Marvel Knights: Curse of the Vampire’ which adds Blade, Moon Knight, Punisher, and Morbius as playable characters. The new pack also adds a brand new Gauntlet Mode, where four players take on challenges in rapid succession in order to receive rewards. Once a Gauntlet has been cleared, players will unlock a survival style version with continuous waves of challenges.
As for the free update, new outfits for Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, and Black Panther among others are now available for all players. More notably, however, is the ‘Nightmare’ story mode which comes with new battle rules for those looking for another approach.
If you’re interested in the additional content for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, then you’ll need to purchase the season pass via the Nintendo eShop, which sells for $19.99. Unfortunately, this is the only way in which you can get the content packs as the developers have chosen not to release then individually.
