Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order Receives July Release Date

It’s almost time to join all your favourite Marvel characters on another adventure. Nintendo has revealed when Switch exclusive Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will hit the system, with the game arriving on the 19th of July.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 was originally revealed at the Game Awards back in December, causing concern with news of the game’s system exclusivity. For Switch owners, this is still a big game that will assemble many of Marvel’s greatest heroes including many characters who never appeared in the previous games. Players get the option to take on the game with members of the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, the X-Men and more.

Iconic characters such as Wolverine, Spider-Man, Thor, and Iron Man all return. But new characters such as Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Deadpool and Spider-Gwen whom all have gained notoriety through films and other Marvel properties will join the fight to defeat Thanos.

In a press release for the game, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Nick Chavez, shared:

“MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE 3: The Black Order brings gamers and Marvel fans together in a new action RPG exclusive to Nintendo Switch. With a huge cast of Super Heroes to choose from, assembling your ultimate team, strategically combining skills to unleash powerful attacks and preventing galactic devastation with friends has never been more fun or immersive.”
