Marvel’s Midnight Suns Releases This Year, Last-Gen Versions Missing

A new gameplay trailer for Marvel’s Midnight Suns is here, as well as a confirmed release date. The game will now release this year on Dec. 2 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Interestingly however, the last-gen PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions were excluded from this announcement.

The accompanying gameplay trailer gave us a new look at the card-based tactical combat of the game, showcasing Area of Effect cards and some intense finishing moves. The trailer also shows off character interactions, such as dialogue options when conversing with other characters and a daily sparring mechanic in which the player chooses a hero to train. The full new trailer can be seen below:

It’s nice to know the game is now arriving for some consoles in this year after a series of delays, but the disappearance of last-gen versions is concerning. It’s possible they will be receiving a later release date, but details are unknown at this time. Are you looking forward to Marvel’s Midnight Suns? Let us know in the comments below.
