Mass Effect Andromeda delayed to 2017

Many people were expecting to be jumping back into the world of Mass Effect with Mass Effect Andromeda at the end of this year as was the original plan, however an issue did arise a couple of months back during Electronic Arts fiscal report. Some people noticed that it was suggested that Andromeda could be delayed into 2017, and this of course has now been confirmed by Bioware.

In a post from the General Manager at BioWare, Aaryn Flynn, Aaryn shared that:

“As we’ve been playing the game at the studio recently, it’s showing us that we’re taking the game in the right direction. But we also know we need the right amount of time to make sure we deliver everything the game can be and should be – that’s our commitment from all of us to all of you. Because of that, Mass Effect: Andromeda will now ship in early 2017.”

Luckily, we have been given some more information about the game to tide fans over, Aaryn has shared that the game will offer more freedom for the player. The game will allow you to explore many uncharted planets and apparently boasts what Bioware is capable of creating with the Frostbite Engine.
