Xbox director of programming Tina Summerford announced March 5 that Microsoft will be premiering a monthly live show titled Inside Xbox. The show will air its first episode on Saturday March 10 at noon PT.
A slew of hosts has already been announced for the show, including Alex Hebert, Lydia Ellery, and Major Nelson himself, Larry Hryb. Most likely, there will be a rotation of hosts, with guests interwoven throughout the episodes.
The group will be discussing Rare’s upcoming Sea of Thieves in their debut, including player feedback from the closed beta and the game’s core design concept. As the game releases March 20 and gamers are eager for any news pertaining it, this is a great starting subject for the Inside Xbox hosts to jump in on.
In her statement, Summerford summed up the group’s projection for the show by stating that “Inside Xbox is the next step on a path Team Xbox has been traveling for many years.” Time will tell if this will be a prosperous route for the Xbox team, but this will surely excite the countless Xbox fans out there.
