Next Halo 5: Guardians update will bring Warthog’s to the game

One of the many things that annoyed players of Halo 5: Guardians was the absence of certain series staple items, one of the biggest omissions in this case being the Warthog. This is a series iconic vehicle that fans has grown quite accustomed to in their game, so the absence was certainly disheartening, but never fear the sting shall soon be gone. 343 Industries has announced via Halo Waypoint that next week’s update will bring with it the return of the series staple the Warthog.

The latest update has been titled the “Hog Wild Req Drop” and will bring with it four versions of the Warthog vehicle, each of these will come with varying armor as well as weapons. Players will also get more guns, including hybrid-scoped versions of the game’s main weapons: the submachine gun, assault rifle, battle rifle and designated marksman rifle. To close off the update, the rest will be of a cosmetic nature providing players with new armor and tags.

The Hog Wild update will be arriving this coming Tuesday for Halo 5, however 343 Industries have stated that there is still plenty more to come, with one particular update, the Warzone Fightfight update arriving at the end of June offering the “largest release to date”. Who knows what interesting toys and options 343 Industries is cooking up in their workshop for the players, I guess we will have to wait and find out.
