Ah parting is such bitter sweet sorrow as the era of online Wii and DS games finally comes to a sad closure, after many years Nintendo has chosen to shut down there servers for old games on the Wii and DS and say goodbye to the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection, but still we can’t say it hasn’t been fun and the memories will last a life time. Being crushed in Mario Kart Wii, winning in Super Smash Brothers Brawl and of course both winning and losing in Pokemon White, ah such great times, but it is all over now.
All the servers were shut down just a few hours ago but we can always look back and say it was fun and the future is still bright with the Nintendo Network and the Wii U and 3DS and their excellent library of games, hopefully online will be as good in the future as it was then. So we give a toast to the future and the great times that were.
