To embark on this exciting journey, make your way over to the Floating Theater in Tropu’hopu and seek out the Stage Director NPC. Once you’ve located him, he’ll share with you the theme he’s chosen for the upcoming performance: “Battle.”
The Director desires realism in the conflict that he’ll be presenting to the audience, a thrilling display that will leave them in awe. He’s in search of an actor with proper fighting skills and not simply some staged combat. But where can he find such talent?
In order to prove your worth, you’ll need to either Challenge (Hikari), Provoke (Ochette), Mug (Osvald) or Coerce (Temenos) the Stage Director, in a head-to-head battle. He is weak to Sword and Dagger attacks as well as Wind magic. After defeating him in this battle of skills, you be selected for his next performance. Depending on what character you use to defeat him, you will receive a different cutscene. For example, if you defeat him with Hikari, you will be given the role of a bodyguard. So feel free to try this quest multiple times to see the different scenes!
Upon completing the cutscene, you will have successfully completed the quest and be rewarded with 4,500 Leaves and a Physical Belt.
