Overwatch 2: Grab Gingerbread Bastion in Limited Time Deal

For a limited time only, the team behind Overwatch 2 has released a brand-new legendary skin for everyone’s favourite robot, Bastion. The skin features Bastion and his pet bird, Ganymede, sporting a gingerbread house-esque design with candy cane features. Most importantly, the skin includes a Santa hat. A legendary skin and victory pose also available for D.va this festive season via Twitch drops, as well as frosty game modes and free festive awards. There’s plenty to add to your collection this holiday season.

How to get the legendary skin

The Gingerbread Bastion Legendary skin will be available through the in-game store from December 20th to January 2nd. You can also choose Bastion in the hero select screen and scroll through his skins to find it. The only catch is that the skin costs one Overwatch 2 coin. If you are low on coins, you are able to complete daily and weekly challenges that not only offer XP, but also enough coins for you to be able to grab Bastion’s skin and any others. As well as challenges, you can convert any earned points through Microsoft Rewards into Overwatch coins. If you do not have an account, you can still sign up and claim! Once you have signed up, you will be able to click on daily links in the ‘earn’ tab that will reward you points over time. The rewards can be exchanged as such:

  • 1,800 points – 200 coins
  • 5,000 points – 500 coins
  • 10,000 points – 1000 coins

Once you have your points, exchange them for coins by searching for ‘Overwatch Coins Digital Code’ in the ‘redeem’ tab. By completing the daily tasks, you can earn an average of 200 Overwatch coins per week. Simple, right?

Once you have grabbed your limited time skin and find yourself with an excess of coins, the Ice Queen Epic Brigitte skin is also available during Overwatch 2‘s Winter Wonderland event, which is running until January 2nd. Whether you are new to the game or not, you will be able to grab these new skins before they’re gone.

Overwatch 2 is available right now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. For more on all things Overwatch, stay tuned right here at GameLuster.
