The paid Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete app has begun its global rollout across iOS and Android, has already topped the charts on Apple’s App Store. Google Play Store typically takes longer to update its figures, so we’re still waiting on Android numbers, but data from Sensory Tower shows the Animal Crossing mobile title to be the best-selling paid app right now in the USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and more.
Not only is Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete topping the paid games charts, but it’s also the #1 paid app overall in these regions. This data suggests there’s a slew of former Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp players returning for the game’s enhanced experience, and likely a whole bunch more who may have been put off by the former app’s monetization trying it out for the first time. The introductory discounted pricing available in all regions is also sure to boost interest in picking up the app sooner rather than later.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete combines almost all content formerly available in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp from the last seven years including events, alongside four new events and seven new cookie sets spread across the next 10 months. There are no microtransactions or optional purchases in the game. That is a considerable amount of content for the relatively low discounted introductory price, and players who were active on the original game can even import over their progress to get a head start and enjoy the new content seamlessly.
