Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Dirt Rally 2.0 have been announced as PlayStation Plus’s free games for April. The offer begins from April 7, concluding on Monday, May 4. This deal will allow players to get their hands on the fourth installment in the Nathan Drake saga, the last main entry in the treasure hunting series which was released back in 2016.
In a GameLuster review of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Simon Smith praised the fourth installment, saying, “Let’s take solace in sending off Nathan Drake in a great and truly fun way. Uncharted 4 is a true series highlight all throughout and is probably the PlayStation 4’s finest game to date.”
As for Dirt Rally 2.0, released a little over a year ago, it is Codemaster’s latest entry into the rallycross series. The 2019 title was deemed as “Codemasters’ finest driving game yet,” and hailed as “deep, involving and crafted with love, and you can’t help but love it back in turn.”
In the meantime, for those who can’t wait another five days, Playstation Plus’s titles for March remain active until April 6, (Shadow of the Colossus and Sonic Forces).
Recently, the movie adaptation of Uncharted was delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis. The adaptation has suffered many hurdles throughout its development, with this latest setback adding to the production’s misfortunes. Ruben Fleischer, the director of Venom, signed on as the seventh director after six others dropped out. These include Shawn Levy, (Stranger Things), and Dan Trachtenberg, (director of the acclaimed 10 Cloverfield Lane).
The film is set to star Spider-Man’s Tom Holland, as well as Mark Wahlberg, Antonio Banderas, Tati Gabrielle, and Sophia Allen.
