PowerWash Simulator 2 Announced, Featuring Split Screen Co-Op

We loved PowerWash Simulator when it dropped back in July 2022 (check out the review), so we’re absolutely thrilled to report that sequel PowerWash Simulator 2 has been announced. Coming sometime this year to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PowerWash Simulator 2 will bring in a host of both enhanced past features and completely new ones – like the ability to play split-screen co-op with friends!

If you enjoyed the first PowerWash Simulator, the sequel will be offering 38 new jobs in its career mode, once again taking place in Muckingham. We’ll be returning to old locations, as well as exploring entirely new ones – and probably encountering some really weird lore along the way like we did in the first game! For the first time, players will have a PowerWash home-base to relax between jobs, with collectible decorations and furniture to make it your own. Friends will be able to visit your office when playing co-op too.

Co-op options expand in PowerWash Simulator 2, which will also feature split-screen multiplayer.

What made the first game so engaging was how satisfying it felt to blast off years of dirt from surfaces and bring the color back into them. This is set to get even better, as developers FuturLab say the “cleaning feels even better”, citing one example of “enhanced soap” that will make the gameplay even more satisfying. Whilst there’s been no confirmation yet, we also hope we receive more of the incredible PowerWash Simulator collaborations with other franchises in the sequel. They were a great part of the original game, featuring cleanable locations from Final Fantasy to Wallace & Gromit

Will you be keeping your eye on PowerWash Simulator 2, releasing later this year? What collaboration packs do you hope we’ll get in the sequel? Let us know in the comments down below, and keep your eyes on GameLuster for more breaking gaming news.
